Cool. I started converting our loft into my hobby room ages ago but the
project stalled halfway through. Maybe you could bring your mirror and
knitting needles and finish it off for me...?! ;-)

it was a surface loft and then I mirrored the half shell and knitted it
together then used the thicken command to give it the proper balsa
thickness. I have also done the same thing for my Roland DVI except that
instead of surface loft I did a regular loft and mirrored it then theres a
shell command that hollows it out. both methods give the same results

You fuselage shells look great. Never tried anything like that with AutoCAD
or Inventor. How did you make the shells? Is that a surface? An extrusion? A
Loft? Or something else that Autocad and Inventor don't have?

I am using Solidworks 2009. this is for 1/4 scale R/C Kit but I will do a
