No, I'm one of many Australians. In fact, by *not* saying "to me and many other Australians" I'm including myself rather than infering a separate motivation.

Rather as I thought.  I never saw you as the tinnie-toting barby-bashing boor.

Ha. Those who met me at Telford in 2007 know just how much of an unsmiling grouch I am.

Me thinks you doth protest too much!

OTOH, I *am* an Australian, with all that means in a country which is as unified by difference as by similarity.

Which is as it should be.  France is as near as I can get to that ideal without losing my index-linked pension!!
