Good to know that I am not the only one who find acrylics harder than
enamels to spray in very thin coats
1500 wet and dry (or finer) used wet will give you much more control.
If you do actually decide to use the fine stuff for personal hygiene
please keep the results to yourself
Might I suggest masking the area you don't want sanded with some
tissue held down with gum or white glue? Use the sort of stuff used
for covering flying models, not the stuff that feels like 1500 grit
wet and dry. It won't last long if you are wet sanding, but will help
protect the other areas from any slightly heavy handed work and can be
removed with a bath in water when you're finished.
