No Cable, it was the rod that went up to the wing just forward of the rear cabanes, the rod was connected by a flexibale joint to a lever arm connected to a rod running forward from the stick. Those teardrop shaped fittings in the upper wing connected to torque rods, which moved the ailerons.HTH

Hi,
Anyone know where the cables went from the fuselage up to the wing for
the aileron control cables? Can you draw me a picture or explain it?
I have no references for the Nieuports, except the Internets.
There's a really good close up of a Ni-17 cockpit on Rosebud's archives,
but I can't see the cables.
I'm almost certain they exist. Even the Dr.1 and D.V11 have them!
