I sold a few kits on evilbay a couple of weeks ago. A gentleman in France bought three of them so the box needed to be a fair size to get them in. The post office quoted me £25.00 to send it, not due to the weight but because the total dimensions of the box were 3cm over the 'small package airmail' size limit. I took the box home, moved things around a bit, cut down the box to remove the excess 3cm and took it back to the post office. They quoted me £7.99. I love the postal service... NOT!
