[WWI] One not for the gallery

Paul, Cor! That's geat!! I tried one of the old WWI Airfix kits a few years back. I ended up giving it away it was the Albatros Deevee and I could not get on with it. Everything seemed- well, wrong, especially the nose and prop. You have made the the Re 8 n the Walfisch into two great little models. I would have thought that that dragging them up to scratch was rather like restoring the Sistine Chapel ceiling, but you've made them look easy! It is good to see those ooold kits looking so great.

Subject: [WWI] One not for the gallery


Just finished a purely fun-type nostalgia build thingy, and since it can't comfortably sit in my gallery (being one from either side), here's a link to it - Airfix Dogfight Double, the Roland C.II and RE8 combo, as unlikely as that may be. No corrections made, just some rigging, and better crew for the RE8, plus replaced the weapons with better spares items and made kingposts for the RE8.
