[WWI] One not for the gallery

I don't know what the Roland pilot is pointing at, but the observer better get his attention with a bop to the head! Of course, that is von Schleich flying, so we already know he survives to become an ace....
The set up is very nice, Paul, and the models are well done.

                                                                     J.R. Boye

Just out of curiosity, is there any record of a victory credited to the front gun of an R.E. 8? How embarrassing for the victim.

Subject: [WWI] One not for the gallery

Just finished a
purely fun-type nostalgia build thingy, and since it can't comfortably sit in my
gallery (being one from either side), here's a link to it - Airfix Dogfight
Double, the Roland C.II and RE8 combo, as unlikely as that may be. No
corrections made, just some rigging, and better crew for the RE8, plus replaced
the weapons with better spares items and made kingposts for the
RE8.
