Hi Rob,
I am a one source reference material person and the Datafiles and
Windsock International fits my needs perfectly. Are they worth the cost
of approximately $20 each. For me, yes. I have subscribed almost from
the beginning and now do a two year renewal as I get a little price
break. One of the biggest expenses is air mail postage. It would take
up to 60 days to get to Calif surface mail, so I just factor in the
cost.
Right now on Ebay there are about 50 various Datafiles for sale and it
looks like they are going for around $20 each. Some older ones go for
more but I resisted until I got the price I wanted.
As far as a PDF, I'm old and old fashioned. I like a magazine or book
in my hands so I can fondle it, carry it around and spread it out while
I build. Lord knows I'm not opposed to technology with a Geek in the
other room. Live in Tech Support is a real perk. I would suggest you
broach the idea with Albatros and see what they say. Ray is very good
about responding.
Dennis
