Steve, it is so great to see you working with the kids. Everybody has fun, especially you :-)

I used to love those biplane gliders, and dogfighting with my brother. You could easily make triplanes (and more) if you had enough kits. As I recall, the triplane flew fine, but was naturally slower.
It looks like the graphics are only on the top wing now. They used to look a little better. The "S.E. 5" and "Fokker D.VII" had appropriately shaped and printed rudders in the past.

                                          J.R. Boye

Subject: [WWI] Camels & Fokkers...Oh my!

I got a chance this week to help out with a local
Rec Center's Model Airplane and Rocket camp. Todays activities included
building and tossing little Guillows balsa biplanes. They were euphemistically
marked "Camel" and "Fokker". Hey, OT is OT. We also had demonstrations of R/C
models and a rocket launch. The kids seemed like they were having fun, I
guarantee us older "helpers" were having a great time.
