Indeed as Shane notes, it is the End of Days. Not only had Dennis done
three 1/48th builds (one of which is fictional because it's post war, but
we'll forgive him 'cos it's got yellow wings) , and those with the skill of
one who has never even heard of 1/72nd, but Pedro has emerged from the
depths of overwork with a truly nicey-nicey.

Re the top wing of Pedro's DH.9a, FWIW I had most of his problems with
the same companies not-quite OT Westl*nd W*ppiti. My approach was to
separate the wing panels from the centre section and rejoin, but the funny
twist towards one end was still magically apparent once the model was
completed. Some glitches spend their lives lurking, just waiting to bite
you............ Anyway, Pedro's model looks every inch convincing, and then
some. I particularly like the dark PC10. I have a piece of fabric from the
Shuttleworth collections SE5a (they were offering them to visitors during
the last re-covering) and the colour match is very close, as far as can be
told via a computer.

Nice to see an OT subject on the IM opening page again.

Paul.
