I´ve seen some photos of DFW B.Is in Over the Front magazine, apparently it was a popular trainer.
There is an old 3-view of it in "Reconnaissance & Bomber Aircraft of the 1914-1918 War" book by William Lamberton.
Here goes a picture of the similar DFW C.I. In it the fuselage appears to be plywood covered...

Hello Everyone;
I'm beginning to work on a DFW B.I and am having trouble finding reliable information on this plane. Any good sources out there?
My main concern is with the fuselage covering. Most of the information I can find, including a crash photo, indicates it was linen covered, but some profiles show it looking like it could be ply covered. The nose and upper section around the cockpits looks like natural alum. Any confirmation on this?
Thanks as always for the help!
