[WWI] A request for help if available

Good morning all
I am currently working on a Roden 1/32nd Alb DIII.  I have put off doing this for a couple of years, or at least until I retired and when I knew I would have the time to do it justice.  Well, I retired so the time has come.

However, yesterday as I was at the desk working on the control column, I watched in un-belief as the column escaped from my locking tweezers and .......PINGED......off into the netherworlds.

I know this is a long shot, but does any one out there just happen to have a control column for the Albatross that won't be used. (Yeah I know silly boy.)  I need both the column and the handle.  As I
said, I know its a long shot, but any help would truly be appreciated.  I have already emailed Roden and am awaiting their reply.
