In 1/48? I would open it up to any scale. The RE8 would also make a superb subject for a contest

More German types seem to get built, (even by me) so, Allied single engine (which includes 2 seaters) or, because they don't get much respect, any two seater might be nice, or, because there are several models out in 1/48 how about a Bristol F2B contest? Eduard, Roden, Aeroclub, Blue Max all have kits out in recent years, I also have an Aurora, and I'm probably missing some, probably the most kitted WWI airplane, but one not seen very often in contests, or the list, so how about a Brisfit contest? FWIW

Howdy Gang!
I have received a lot of requests to do another contest. This time in 1/48.
So *if* we wanted to do this again what would the best 1/48 model be? Any Fokker Dr.I? We just did those... Maybe any Fokker D.VII? Any Allied single engine?
This time we will be freer with the rules. It can be OOB or detail added, whatever.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks!
Brent
