Thanks to everyone on the nice comments. It was a lot of fun actually, even though I had to flog myself at times to complete both models.
Tim, I don't know how you got four models done- and really nice ones at that! I also used the Roden Dr.I kit and didn't find it too bad, although I do not know how they came up with the upper cabane strut shape with no fairing. But I'm not going back for revisions on mine- it's done.
Everyone did great work on their models considering the time limitations, and I especially liked seeing the early "in-process" photos and comparing the different approaches- especially on the streaky Fokker finish.
Also thanks to Brent and Roll Models for sponsoring the contest and putting up with our questions and remarks.

                                                         J.R. Boye

Much Thanks to Roll Models for sponsoring the contest and Congratulations
to the winners. I certainly got a kick out of seeing "Stachel's" triplane.
Very creative!
A side to J.R. Boye, excellent detail on the upper wing of your triplane
(actually, the whole model was excellent), I really liked the over painted
national insignia. A very nice touch.

Take care
Scott
