[WWI] Machine gun color question.

Patrick,
Without commenting on how the guns were finished in real life, I will share my gun finishing method that I'm pretty happy with. Paint it flat black. Then come backand rub graphite powder on it. I get the graphite by rubbing a pencil on a piece of sandpaper. It gives just the right look, imo.
