Dennis, you are scaring me here....
You've probably assembled more top wings on models than anyone else in the world!
I know the wing is big and heavy... I would think the 'V' cabane struts and nacelle assemblies would make things easier.

It's o.k. to do other scales now and then. A friend gave me a 1/144 plane from that other war to build, and I've done several more for him as gifts. They are good for clearing the mind.

Sigh. Another attempt to install the top wing failed. Now it sits on
my second work table mocking me. I now envision myself climbing up the
side with my Xacto knife in hand, tangled in rigging screaming "THY
DAMNED STAAKEN".
Ok, I'm back in control. I have been busy. A Nieuport 23, Fokker D,VII
and a submission to Internet Modeler have been completed. Two of my
very old kits have been cleaned and refurbished (Fokker D.VII and
Sopwith Triplane) and a Fokker Dr1 and D.VII have been built and sold.
There is also a 1/48th (oops) FW thingy that is resisting my charms but
progressing. Tech Support has been busy with her web design business so
I have been neglected. Alas. She will have some things on line in the
near future.
But, the Staaken will fall. I will get that top wing on this month and
try and have it ready for a November submission to IM. It's just so
big.
Dennis
