[WWI] Albatros D.1 inquiry

Hello friends...

Well, I have finally taken the plunge and joined the list!

I am working on the Roden 1/72 Albatros D.1. I am wondering... some of the photos I have seen seem to show a small windscreen in place. The Roden instructions hint at one, but none is included in the kit.

Did the D.1 have a windscreen? I have searched Google for over an hour trying to find a reference shot showing one, but again, nothing is definitive.

I believe I can easily add one, but I would like to be sure of the shape, and how it was attached before doing so.
