[WWI] Befuddled in blogland

Thanks for the comments. I haven't made a new posting on the thing since
the one mentioned here on the List.
Yeah- it's partly a marketing thing- aviation art is a difficult thing
peddle and "Blogging" apparantly attracts people.
(so I've been told). I guess old fashioned websites aren't good enough
anymore- they don't snap, crackle or pop- they just
sit in the bottom of the bowl and get soggy.
What I'd like is to be able to figure out how to reach the
non-afficianado folks. Most of our customers at airshows have
been such. They're people who didn't know any such thing as "aviation art"
existed, or their concept of it is limited to
Blue Angels posters and are thrilled to find out otherwise.
At the same time, I want to make the content interesting in and of
itself, with appeal to the "insiders". I also want to avoid
the personal trap of "Oh boy- I can write anything I want! I can get as
snarky and meanspirited and dumb and irrelevant
as I want!" We will also probably at some point open it up to outside
comments, most likely on a sign-up basis ( it won't cost anything...)
For the time being, mullings and ponderations are being mulled and pondered.
