Robert,
as ET rightly says, if you've got something to say, then say it. If not, keep schtum. There is an awful lot of pointless, precious, pretentiousness out there thinly disguised as an interesting blog. It does not need adding to.
If, on t'other hand, you want to use it as an advertising medium, then a whole world of purple prose is yours for the writing.
The choices are yours.
