> My question: how do you 1/48 Albatros veterans paint the wing radiators?
I'm looking for ideas on colors to use and techniques for masking. Is it
easier to paint the wing colors and then mask and shoot the radiator, or
vice versa? (And what color(s) should the radiator be?)
It depends on taste.. some paint the radiator first, then mask and paint the
camo around, others prefer to do as Mark Shannon described.
On radiator colours, you can paint it either a dull silver or alu (the
radiator was made of tinned metal) or even with a yellowish tinge, like the
"car" radiator on the Pfalz D.XII.
