[WWI] Two new models on my web pages

I've just got back from my Hols, so I am a little behind at the moment
and a trying to catch up on 2 weeks worth of e-mails. BAA1 is nearly
finished now, I'm currently rigging the beast and estimate that I have
about 2 or 3 weeks more work in order to get it completed. I will try
and post a photo once it's completed for interest. The idea of the
articles was to pick a subject, provide plans and plenty of detailed
photos and information to allow modellers to have a go themselves. The
choice of subject came down a little bit to timing. With the aniversery
of Codys flight coming up on Oct 16th it seemed the perfect time to
build BAA1. This may seem a bit ambitious to some for a first project,
but I think one should never underestimate people abilities - sure I
could have picked something simple like a Morane L but it wouldn't have
been half as much fun.

By the way, I've just been looking at all the new models posted in the
Galleries, wonderful stuff - all of them. Perhaps we should have a vote
on the colour of Voss' cowling.

Regards

Dave

Dave Hooper has just started a scratchbuilding series of articles in
SAMI, with British Army Aeroplane No.1 as the subject.

relatively straight lines would be an easier first attemt. Thanks for
posting,
