Thanks for the nice comments, everyone.

    I don't remember any particular track problems building the Whippet.
    I still use finishing methods I learned in the '60s, so my weathering is done with washes and dry brushing. Sometimes I use pastels, but not on this one.All my painting is with enamels and lacquers
     The over-painted fuselage cross on the SSW D.III was actually printed that way on the Americals decal sheet. It was a nice touch and worked well.

Strange. I built the 1/72nd Mk IV Male and the tracks fitted perfectly.
