Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,

  I like your adaption.  Confusion of wars could come later:-

  For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
  Shall be my brother....

  You could always be enthusiastic in secret. 
  Secretly enthusiastic Now there is an intrigueing concept.
