Er, I should have said I know how the Spanish/French original engines looked, wasn't the Wright H after all a WW1 engine...

Thanks, Diego, but I think I know pretty well how the WW1 engines looked. My problem is that the kit engine is different from the WW1 ones, and doesn't match any of the postwar engines that I have seen in references.

I have several reference pictueres of WW1 vintage Hispano Suiza engines, I wonder if that would be of any use to you...

      Hi guys,
I'm looking at the 1/48 Planet Loening M-8 kit. I'm not convinced by the carburettor, which doesn't look like any other Hispano carburettor that I have seen. And it's of course plainly visible on top of the engine...
Can somebody point me to some photos of the engine installation of the M-8, or of any other references about the 300 hp Wright "H" series V-8 engines?
      Cheers,
      Anders
