Yeah I know a guy I used to work with that took that same trip around 40 years ago, but in a PBR with a SEAL team on board!

Mother, then on Monday to Vietnam via Tokyo to begin my cobbled
together cruises up the Mekong River through Cambodia and Laos,
finishing in northern Thailand.

If Martin Sheen is on that boat turn around and get off.  Say, "HI!" to
Colonel Kurtz for me! ;^)
