Surfacing from lurk and working on a research proposal* to put in my two
kopecks. I have used ELO before with good effect on my Eduard Fokker F.I,
and then . . . not so well on my attempt at correcting the Revell Nie.17.
Some cautions:

- Do not immerse the part in the ELO as you would brake fluid.
- Use it sparingly, a little will actually do the job, just let it soak in.
- Too heavy an application, or using it too often can result in the plastic
becoming very brittle. It is almost as if it pulls or leaches some "oils"
out of the plastic. I have a broken Nie.17 fuselage and upper wing to attest
to this.

It is a good product, it is just that less is more.

*Full-time grad school and full-time teaching has me feel as if I am
drowning. I will be very glad to see the end of this semester.
