Mr. T,

	I have heard of both methods but have used only the oven cleaner and it
worked well.  It has been years and I used the toxic version.  I
understand there is a less toxic version of oven cleaner on the marker
now.  I work in the sink so I can have a constant supply of water.
Spray it on, let it do it's thing and clean with an old toothbrush.
repeat as necessary until all paint is gone.  Don't get it on any clear
parts but we seldom have to worry about that.  Works very good.
