<<What no one is mentioning is that Future is a basically a gloss accrylic
finish. I think acrylic gloss finish, available in art supply storets, could
be used.>>

a bit late here, but here goes- Yeah, Future is a gloss liquid plastic. I've
been using it as a painting medium for years. If you've seen any of my
Datafile cover paintings, you've seen Future in action. Those are done with
(mainly) Ceramcoat craft acrylic cut with, and sealed over with Future. Any
"glazing" techniques ( translucent effects) are just more Future, less
paint. There's been talk about yellowing...well, there's Future and then
there's future. Not all production batches are prone to this disaster. You
can actually spot which bottles are more likely to go wonky. It's why I
never tell my wife to "oh, while you're at it, could you pick up a jug of
Future while you're at the store". I like to personally look at any bottle
of the stuff I get. I can hold it up to the light, and any bottle that has a
possibilty of turning yellow shows right off the bat as very slightly
yellowish. Weird. But in over ten years of making paintings ( and
models)with the stuff, I've never had any turn bad that used a good jug to
begin with.
RK....wobbly
