Matt, I can send you the pdf of the sign if you like.
By way of explanation, the second picture is of the display I did at the
East Midlands Show at Hinckley. The display was set up on shared table space
with the South Atlantic SIG. I entered the PV2 in the 72nd Scale Pre-1945
Class and was surprised to get 1st Place.
The third and fourth pictures are at Perth. Perth is the Scottish National
Model Show, which runs over two days. Dave Fleming was there on the first
day so we were able to touch base. On the Saturday evening they have a
Trader¹s Dinner, after which Trevor Snowden gave a talk on the future of
Airfix. I entered a couple of models, firstly the PV2bis in the Vacform
Class, which it won by default. Secondly a 1/600th scale PV8 in the 144th
and smaller class, for a joke. It didn¹t win the class, but it was awarded
the ³W¹at If² Concept Trophy.
regards
Steve

Looking over the photos Steve Cox sent in of the GWICC display has me
thinking (which is a rare occurrence).
How many on the list are coming to our Region 5 Regional, this
Friday/Saturday? If there are enough - that is, more than just myself -
I'll set up a table for a GWICC display. The only problem is coming up with
as nice of a sign that was displayed in those photos.
LMK ASAP, please. Through the list if possible, so we all can see who is
coming.
