[WWI] SPAD XIII wing question

>From what I can find in the photos, if it is a Spad 13 in yellow, it will have rounded wingtips.  I find it strange, because there were apparently still Spad 7 in production when the five color camouflage came out.

I think on the Spad 13s, though, the yellow camouflaged ones were all rounded wingtip, but I cannot say that all five color Spad 13s were square wing-tipped.

I'm doing the plane flown in early 1918 by Gorman deFreest Larner of Spa86.  Does anyone know if it had the early (rounded), late or wing with the ply pockets?  Any ideas?  The plane is finished in the
"yellow" camo scheme.  Thanks
