Jim,

Thank you for your comments on my models. I do like the TAURO wood grain decal sheet. I think it
is the best wood grain decal sheets around. I have had great results so far. I'm currently using it on my
AIRFRAMES vacuform kit project of the Short 184.

Buz, I looked at your Albatros C.XV. The model appears to be VERY well done, like your other models. I noticed that the woodgrain looked familiar and then I read: "Wood-grain finish by Tauro." I had picked up a sheet of that in 1:48 for possible use inside my Nie 11 but didn't use it because I already had my X-brace wires in place. It looks great on your model. Maybe I'll use it on a future model.

Jim

Dimitry - I also have information about using different C-type Albatroses ( C.III, C.X, C.XII, C.XV ).

I would be interested in the information that you may have on the C.III and C.X types use during the Russian Civil War. I made a vacuform model of the Albatros C.XV that operated in Latvia with the Western Army (White) and it is posted in my gallery here: http://www.wwi-models.org/Images/Pezold/RCW/index.html. I doubt that the actual plane ever flew operationally.
