<<Same as everybody else, Nieuport Fighters DF Special, vo. 1 and the Crowood book.>>

Everybody else? Everybody else? Not me. (Grin)

Perhaps one of the "everybody else" could scan the appropriate text and/or photo(s) and send it to me off-list. (Grin)

Or just describe what the Nieuport Fighters DF Special, vo. 1 and the Crowood book have to say/show about instruments and seatbelts in the Nie 11.

Jim

" For instruments the Nie 11 only had a tachometer, oil pulsator, fuel sight glass and magneto switch, right? "

For the most part, yes.

" I have seen on the internet where folks have said that it had airspeed, altimeter, compass etc. ... but I don't think so. Of course stuff could have been installed in the field. "

Could have, yes. " Anybody have any Nie 11 cockpit photos showing the instruments? Oh, one more thing: seatbelts. I can't find any Nie 11 photos or drawings that show any seat belts. The way the pilot was crammed into the tiny cockpit I suspect they didn't need seatbelts. Anybody have any Nie 11 cockpit photos showing seatbelts? "

Same as everybody else, Nieuport Fighters DF Special, vo. 1 and the Crowood book.
