I have been looking at that photo, and every other Nieuport photo I can find on the internet and on our own wwi site. I have fabulous photos by Knut Eric of the Nieuport 11 hanging in Musée de l'Air, Le Bourget. I've even looked at model pictures to see how people did their Nie 11 interiors. It just seems impossible to find much info on Nie 11 interiors. I do have a nice big scale drawing of the Nie 11 by Joseph Nieto (Air Age) but I don't know how accurate it is. And it doesn't show or list instruments. He does show pitot-static tubes on an interplane strut, which implies air speed and altitude gauges, but the kit doesn't show or supply pitot-static tubes. No photos show a pitot-static tube setup. The instrument panel provided in the kit has three gauges, which could include air speed and altitude, but I'm not using the instrument panel because I don't think Nie 11's had instrument panels.
