Yep, I routinely wipe down after decals go on to remove glue & solvent
residue. I just use a cloth dampened with soapy water and then give the
model a rinse under the tap. I've never had decals move but some have glue
that nothing short of a small thermo-nuclear device will remove. I used some
Leading Edge decals on an ongoing ot project and was left with brown-ish
stains on the white wings. I tried everything in my repertoire to get rid of
that but even mineral spirits wouldn't budge it. I resorted to masking over
the roundels with punched out discs of Tamiya tape (the low tack didn't pull
up the decals fortunately) and then re-spraying the wings.
