[WWI] First time playing with PE Spandaus

Folks,

back in 2003 I built an Albatros D.III and used a Copper State Models
PE Spandau set - in fact I just used the main pieces of it and a piece
of resin. The result was awful. A fellow modeler told me a plain
"you're nuts" when I mentioned 1/72 PE Spandaus.

Well, now that I'm back to modeling, I decided two of my current
builds (Roden Pfalz D.IIIa and Eduard Dr.I) would have PE Spandaus.
I'm almost done with the Pfalz guns (Tom's Modelworks). Here go some
pics with still some minor pieces left to glue.

Needles are the smallest ones I could find at a drugstore I visites
some time ago.

You'll notice some things aren't in perfect alignment. To be honest,
there are some mistakes I only discovered after editing the pictures
(I'm amazed at what a digital camera can do...). But overall I'm quite
satisfied with the effort and hope the next ones (for the Dr.I,
Spandaus will be Eduard too) will be even better!

All the best from Brazil

Marcio
