Sounds about right to me.
The Datafile No. 58 has drawings of I,N and V for comparison, plus some (rather poor) cockpit shots.
I built my 'N' from the Revell kit. That involved a lot of reworking, so I think you are way ahead with the Temeks kit. I'm going to build mine as Smirnov's 'I' and go the easy route.

Decided I need to stop procrastinating and build something! So dug the above out (hey ho, only one wing, should be
easy!!)
Anyone out there converted one to an 'N' or a 'V'? I reckon for the 'N' I just need to remove the 'hump', slightly
shorten the wingspan and straighten the wing trailing edge. For a 'V', remove the hump and new wings to be
scratchbuilt. An RFC 'I' will need the hump removed as well!
Engines, guns etc to use a selection of Aeroclub parts as per Matt's IM article.

I also have the Roseplanes u/c set that Matt mastered.
Internal details of Moranes are hard to come by, so I'm planning to use the Edard 1/48th Instructions as a
reference - unless anyone knows better. I beleive the only surviving parts are a prop and spinner at the Science
Museum in London!
So, how many years do you think this will take me?? :-)
