[WWI] LLoyd C II

For my next build I have drawn out of my hat a Joystick Lloyd C II.   The kit states that the wings are wood veneer. The one picture and one built model I have seen look to be linen covered wings. Have any of you built this kit and can offer any suggestions? I have seen Steve Hustads excellent build and will use that as a reference as well.  Thank you.
