[WWI] Scalefest

I was there almost all day.  My Lloyd CVI took 2nd place in the bi- 
plane category.  I got skunked in all of the other ot categories I  
entered.

I saw Mark Shannon for a few minutes just as the judging was starting  
and he was on his way to Squadron and i was judging.  We hooked up  
again for a few minutes at the tail end of the awards ceremony.  He  
got a 2nd in one of the ot categories.

Lots of very excellent models there.  I didn't take my camera (left by  
the door on the way out) so don't have any pics.  Bi-planes were very  
light this year, but helos were overly heavy. May be an indicator for  
the trend at the Nats, I don't know.  You can never second guess that  
show.

The only list button I saw was the 8 inch wide one on the back of the  
shirts my wife and I were wearing.

I did see you when we came in, but it was a bit hectic at that time.
