[WWI] Newbie here with what appears to be a WWI hand dropped bomb

Hi Folks,
 
Thanks for all your responses regarding my "bomb" post & recommending Lee as a source of information. Lee Mensinger has a New Braunfels, TX phone number listed with an address and the address is only about a mile from where I live. I've been calling the listed phone number but nobody answers. I will continue trying and will let all of you know what I find out. I cannot leave a message as he has no voice mail. I will stop by his house in a couple of days if I cannot reach him by phone.  I do hope it's OK with him.
