Yesterday while visiting the New England Air museum at Bradley, I was browsing the gift shop and in the back they hade a table filled with clearance sale books, lots of old stuff with several OT. They had the FMP book on Schakowsky S.16 for $10.00 and a book on British gasbags in WW1, but the most interesting find for me were 4 books titled The US Air Service in World War 1 vol. 1-4. small hard cover books edited by Maurer issued by the Government printing office in 1978-79. I picked them up for $6.00 each les 20%, for a total of $20 for all 4. sounded like a good bargain. Not sure if there is much useful modeling information but squadron histories and all of that type of detail should be complete. Anyone else have these books? any useful modeling stuff in them?
Thanks,
Dave
