" Congrats on the job. I was a geographer as a student and t'other half
has a double first in politics and sociology. Just hope you are allowed to
teach on your side of the pond. In England it became all pc and paperwork.
Geography disappeared (humanities) and failure became unachievable. "
thanks Chris, it has been a long road, but I can see light at the end of the
tunnel. There are entire school systems here in the states that have
eliminated their Social Studies/History/Geogrpahy curriculums because "it is
not on the test" as far as NCLB is concerned.
" So, ten years ago, we escaped to France where we now run holiday homes.
This is genuinely not a plug, but if you would like some pics of our home
and of north west France, please go to our website www.kermavio.com "
OK, now you've goen and done it! SWMBO is making plans so that we can
HOPEFULLY make a trip to Scotland, or both Scotland and England next summer.
I made her promise that our next trip would be on the continent. I think I
know a good place to stay now, and talk about modeling too. :)
Just to bring this back OT, my next step on my Eduard Nieuport is to wrap
the cylinders with fine copper wire so they will have some cooling fins.
