Hi Warren,

new kid on the block, here.

Congrats on the job. I was a geographer as a student and t'other half has a double first in politics and sociology. Just hope you are allowed to teach on your side of the pond. In England it became all pc and paperwork. Geography disappeared (humanities) and failure became unachievable.

So, ten years ago, we escaped to France where we now run holiday homes. This is genuinely not a plug, but if you would like some pics of our home and of north west France, please go to our website www.kermavio.com

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,

Chris.

  Listers,
I'm back. Issues at the beginning of June are behind me now for the most part (SWMBO's surgery) and I am now facing the crunch time of my political science graduate course. Lots of reading which hurts my head (realist vs. neo-relist vs. liberal multilateralism vs. liberal democratic realism vs. God-knows-what) and a big (for me) paper due in a couple of weeks. I'll cobble it together somehow.
I have one piece of good news though: I have a REAL TEACHING JOB!!!! Yep, got hired officially, and full-time. I get to go to work warping young minds teachign 6th grade Social Studies which for my school means Geography. I may have to have y'all help me by asking for pics of where you live etc. because it helps the kids to see real people with real names leading their lives around the world. I ask this as this is such a world-wide and friendly group.
Anyway, I am doing a group build with Houston on something off-topic, which is great father-son time. Hopefully, after it is over, I will dig out my Nieuports again. Great to be back.

  Warren
