Hi Bob,
Book looks good, but the price works out to over $65 US dollars so it's one of those can't afford it right now type of things... How many pages is it? Not sure if it is like one of the larger Schiffer books or the smaller perfect bound books that FMP did on the Salmson and Pfalz. Liked your profile on the Sopwith Baby, may decide to do those markings for my Eduard 1/48 Baby kit if I ever get to start it!
Thanks,
Dave

Bob,
What is the title off the book? HMS BEN-MY-CHREE? I'm interested in your review of this book. I'm currently building the "old" AIRFRAMES 1/72 scale kit of the SHORT 184 so I would like to know more about the book. Even with or without your color profiles (my disclaimer)! ;^) Just kidding!

Greetings all,
Just a little note to mention that CCI member Ian Burns has just had his first book published. This is the result of many years research and is devoted to the Isle of Man steamer and seaplane carrier HMS Ben-my-Chree. To keep the CCI connection going, the book was published by none other than Colin Huston.
I have just begun to read it last night, so can't make a full review as yet, but a quick look through shows both have something to be proud of. The only disclaimer I can make is I did the colour profiles of the aircraft, so I may be a little biased :-)
Regards,
Bob Pearson
