Micro Sol is alcohol based I believe. Micro Set is acetic acid (vinegar) and
isn't as effective.

Ok, I ran out of Micro Sol and NO Hobby Shop in the near vacinity. I have
read that Vinigar and wtaer make a reasonable substitute. I tried this and
even straight vinegar, no joy! What is the secret ingrediant in commercial
setting solutions?
