<<If you really want to go to town with the in flight views, position the model on a piece of glass ...>> There are as many ways to do it as there are listees - lay it on it's back like Dmitry did, except place it on a photo of the sky with a few clouds. Add another light source(s) to eliminate the shadows. Replace the prop with a disk of clear plastic to make it look like a spinning prop. Or spin the prop with a hair dryer. Hang the model from thread and later erase the thread with photo software. See:
