Scary thing about the Scorpions is Rudolf Schenker is in his 60s now ..but,
yeah they were big influences.

I saw a neat note in a book on Uboats, the guy who wrote it thanked everyone
in Iron Maiden in it by name for keeping him company while doing his
research.
