I find this discussion about yellowing of transparent coverings a bit
byzantine. After all, how many years a model lasts in pristime condition? If
it's a regular contender of model shows, it has a shorter "shelf life" than
just "home sitters". And even those cherished home based models get damaged
sooner or later by small prying hands, or a visitor wondering if the tiny
propeller revolves or not.
Broken undercarriages, saging rigging, unglued cabane struts, all ravages of
time that happen much before a scotch tape turns yellow and unsightly.
