[WWI] Louvers - How I made them

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the comments. I used .004". I found it was thick enough for the
louvers to keep their shape without getting squished through handling, yet
soft enough to form without annealing. I annealed my first practice set,
which worked OK, but the second set I tried without it, and it worked just
as well.
Cheers
Mike

Mike, many thanks for the masterful exposition. This subject has been
addressed on the list in the past but the results were not as clean as you
have achieved. What was the thickness of the brass that you used?
