[WWI] Fokkers, Albatros and nail polish

Yesterday my six year old daughter got into my finished model cabinet and she decided to paint 2 of my Fokkers and another unfortunate Albatros in nail polish. Ah, the joys of children. While the argument can be made that "Sure, nobody knows the real colors from back then, so maybe they really were in corral pink"...I somehow feel that may not hold true here. So...anybody out there have a quick fix solution for stripping nail polish, decals and acrylic paint, that will not ruin the plastic itself? I don't mind (much) repainting them again...I just want to avoid building them again.
