<As I said, I'm not debating the business sense of producing Luftcat kits.
<I'm sure it's very lucrative. I'm not so sure it's smart business to have
<the best kit - it may be good for modellers in the short run, but the
demise
<of Accurate Miniatures is a good indication of what happens when quality
<meets market reality head on.

<The criticism isn't Eduard's fault, but for them to complain about it makes
<about as much sense as me wandering into a boxing ring and then complaining
<because I got hit in the head.

<Frankly, I hope the experten does put them off producing more Luftwaffe
<kits....

I really don´t think that was the reason that Accurate Miniatures went belly
up. One possibility could be that they where announcing upcoming kits too
early over and over again, which made lots of people irritated. I know that
I really was, when the B-25 was about to be released. And released. And
released.
Another guess would be that they where a little bit too focused in one area
of objects. Few people see US WWII Navy and early Army as the only areas of
interest. Maybe they would still be around if they had released a couple of
Nazi Wonderbirds in the same quality as their Avengers and Dauntlesses.
